Vntg Boxing Coach Manager Joe Ferry Autograph photo & "Ferry System of Boxing"

Unusual and fascinating Joe Ferry handmade boxing lessons booklet with autographed photo. The photo is copyright 1944, Paramount Pictures (so it seems fine looking Joe was once thought of as a potential silver screen material) and it's inscribed "To my star pupil, the Adonis Michael Most Sincerely Joe Ferry.' The slim, mimeographed lesson booklet, Titled "Primal Urge No. 1" is fastened to a folder with a  Lockheed Aircraft Corp. label. The "Ferry System of Boxing" runs through techniques and maneuvers named after sparring stars including Jack Demspey ("The Jack Dempsey Upper Rout") Jack Johnson, Carl Tremaine, Cowboy Cody and Harry Willis. This is a really neat and special look back at classic fighters and techniques by someone who was in the thick of it.
