    Description

    Here is an original silk ribbon for a life member in 1858 for the Rock County Fair.  It measures approx. 2 1/2" by 6 1/4" and features a maiden holding what appears to be a basket (or possibly a hat) with a sheaf of wheat under her other arm.  There are light stains, small holes and wrinkles as evidenced by the scan.  A great, scarce fair item.  Thanks for looking at this auction.
