African American Dee Dee Barbie and the Rockers Hybrid MTM Body Articulated Jointed Black Vintage
This awesome doll has the 1986 Dee Dee from the iconic Barbie and the Rockers line with her original Afro ponytail and orange lace ribbon. Her vibrant makeup is lovely; she seems to be missing a couple hair plugs that may have been that way from the factory.
She is on a new MTM articulated Black Barbie body, which has an amazing 26 joints so you can pose her in a myriad of ways. Her body is slightly darker than her face, but overall it’s a great match.
She has a vintage Barbie doll dress from a competitor, dating to the late 80s and early 90s. She has lavender undies to match. There are a few tiny pindot stains that do not detract.
Her neon shoes complemented lace bow.
Her vintage yellow spiral bracelet is from the 1986 Rockers line.
