RC Hornet debuted in 1984 and created a boom in 2WD off-road cars.
This is an assembly kit for an electric radio-controlled buggy that can be used anywhere from on-road to off-road with its light footwork.
It has a total length of 400 mm, a total height of 150 mm, a total width of 230 mm, and a weight of 874 g.
The use of engineering plastics in the suspension arm and gearbox, as well as the bust type frame, has resulted in a lightweight and strong vehicle body.
The suspension is a rolling-grid axle equipped with an independent swing axle with a coil spring at the front and an oil damper unit with high shock absorption at the rear.
It is equipped with a sealed gearbox to shut out the intrusion of sand and pebbles that are common to off-road driving. It also has a built-in differential gear for smooth cornering.
The wheel is a 3-piece assembly type that you can feel at the front and back. The front wheels are equipped with grooved tires with excellent directionality, and the rear wheels are equipped with high-grip spike tires.
The body is made of polycarbonate which is light and shock-resistant.
Transmitter, speed controller, receiver, servo and 7.2 V battery are sold separately.
