    Description

    This is an original 1908 envelope promoting the new grounds and the Michigan State Fair. The Fair was held Sept 3rd to 11th, 1908.  The envelope is unused and measures 6 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches. Some mild wear and back flap is not open now. Very colorful showing the buildings, street cars, horse barns, grand stand, main exhibit building and Fred Postal President. Shows open fields in the background as the fair grounds at the time were build on the edge of the city at that time.  Promoted as Michigan's Greatest Agricultural Fair on new grounds.  At bottom promotes ,000 in premiums and ,000 for races. Back of envelope has dates and place for stamp and address. Very cool original item.
