Description
Extremely rare antique Primo Carnera boxing ticket stub and other memorabilia from the estate of Earl R ‘Sergeant’ Goodwin who was a sports writer for the Oregon Journal newspaper in the 1920’s and 1930’s. The ticket is in good shape and not deteriorated or faded much from what I can see. It has a sharp clean cut that has removed one of the corners. I assume but cannot confirm that this was done upon entering the event from the ticket taker. I haven’t been able to find any other tickets of any kind from this venue. The venue was the Portland Ice Coliseum also known as the Portland Ice Hippodrome which was demolished sometime in the middle of last century. Also included are Earl Goodwins press passes, golf card, theater card, Shriners card, Republican candidate card with picture and business card. All are in varying condition but intact. See pictures for condition. I’ll ship USPS to the USA lower 48 states only. Sorry I don’t get good enough rates to ship anywhere else.
