This brake light switch is activated when the center pin is pulled. Easily mounted to your frame or rear axle plate, with the spring going to a small clamp on your brake rod or brake pedal. This kit includes the following replacement parts, designated by the original Harley-Davidson OEM numbers: brake light switch 72004-39, spring 72017-39, wire clip 72020-39, brake rod lock with stud and wing nut 42280-35.
