    Description

    Souvenir from the 1966 McClure Bean Soup Festival, held since 1891 in McClure, Snyder County PA.
    The festival was founded by local Civil War Veterans who even served hardtack at the earliest festivals (along with the bean soup!) The Festival is still going strong, with the 2022 Festival scheduled for September 12th through the 17th...This is a white bowl stamped USA on bottom and printed on one side McClure Bean Soup Seventy-fifth Annual 1891 McClure , PA 1966.  Measures about 2 1/2" tall and about 5 1/2" in diameter. Over the years, I've come across the miniature cast iron kettles that were made for the Festival, but , in my experience, these bowls are not easily found.
    Condition: Very nice condition, I see no chips, cracks or other issues.
